He is saying it to the believer ️ (you and I) ⬅️ right now — “Remember Lot’s wife.” We need to hear it again and again. We need to be saturated in the message that says.

The book of Genesis tells us what happened that day. While they were fleeing, she looked back and became a pillar of salt. When Jesus said to His disciples, ” ‘Remember Lot’s wife’ ” (Luke ), it was a warning to not look back. Why was looking back such a horrible sin, causing the judgment of God to fall upon Lot’s wife? In Luke , Jesus gave a warning to His followers to “Remember Lot’s Wife.” In Genesis chap we read of the story about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by God, the deliverance of Lot’s Family from the city and the destruction of Lot’s wife.

He said, "Remember Lot's wife," for it has particular application to those who are living at the time of the end, who are facing the destruction of the very society, the very nation, in which they live. They will be living amidst the greatest contagion of worldliness that has ever existed on the earth since the time of Noah. Remember Lot's wife. My text this evening is from Luke's Gospel chap as we read, but just one verse - verse "Remember Lot's wife". The Lord Jesus Christ spoke the words that we read together earlier, and it's as if He paused in the midst of this discourse on His second return, and He said "Remember Lot's wife" - and I want us to do that tonight.
